Regional Youth Substance Use Peer Recovery Coach

Provides early detection, treatment, and recovery support services for substance use, mental health, or co-occurring disorders. Works with youths aged 12 – 17 and young adults aged 18 – 25, as well as families or primary caregivers of the youths and young adults. Will use evidence-based, youth-and young-adult-driven early detection, treatment, and recovery-oriented programs and services. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, lived experience, in active recovery, no intensive inpatient/outpatient Behavioral Health treatment for the past six (6) months, no legal involvement in the last six (6) months, must complete a BBH-approved Recovery Coach curriculum, and receive the PRSS certification.
